Pho Wagon in San Jose

This place is nice and clean. The noodle soup was very good. The lemongrass pork was a little dry. The egg rolls were great though. Nice place.

Good, reasonably-priced noodle house. Not fancy, not a huge menu, but what they serve is good. Recommended if you live close to Willow Glen.

I had my first Pho here and ever since then has become one of my go to place for Pho. I really enjoy the simple ambiance and the staff has always been outstanding. They do take out as well but it's best to eat at the restaurant.

I always love eating here. The food is outstanding and always on time. The staff is friendly and helpful. I have never had a mediocre experience here, let alone a bad one.

Having been here many times in the last few years, the food is still top notch. The service has been in a constant decline. That being said though, you are usually served quick enough, just don't show up starving! The rolls are obviously frozen and microwaved when you order, so don't expect those to be awesome and authentic, but the Pho is amazing!

Love the Pho beef broth, clean and NOT oily. Service is always quick, friendly and very attentive. Lots of parking in a lot the only bad mark is we have to wait until 11:30am to get it.

Wonderful Minh Ba sandwich. Great service and quick. My friend had sauteed beef with vegetables and rice which he claimed was delicious. Large location and good for families. Parking is good.

Favorite place for Pho in San Jose

Had the beef pho to go - it was good - broth was better than most places. It didn’t have much brisket meat which is kinda disappointing. It was almost closing time... but still.Edit 6/19/19 - I came back today to try their pad thai. Ok, maybe it was because I was freakin starving for pad thai that it tasted soooooo gooood. I have to say it is the best pad thai I have ever had! I also ordered beef broth and it was even better than before. I scarfed down the pad thai but I was able to take one pic. Go try it! Also, thank you for the friendly service!

Tried this place for the first time today as it's only a few minutes from my house. Ordered the Beef Combination Pho & the shrimp & pork egg rolls. Both were so-so. It's quite a bit more pricey than my 2 favorite Pho places, Pho Co (my favorite) & Pho Hanoi (my wife's favorite), both in the Vietnam Town complex on Story Rd. Taste-wise, Pho Wagon isn't even in the same league as the other 2 places.

Poor service and average food. The Pad Thai (okay this is not a Thai place, but that is the simplest thing any restaurant should make) was dry. The large pho 🍲 bowl was the smallest I have seen at Vietnamese restaurant. Pass. We waited for ever to get served and when the wait got excruciating, I just walked to the front desk to be waited again.

Love this place! We used to live down the road in Willow Glen and this was our "go to" Pho destination. Vermicelli bowls are to die for. Their straight up Pho is delicious. Consistently good and very polite staff.

Excellent service and great food. Great location, not too busy. Parking can be difficult, but you can usually find a spot on the side of the restaurant as it's on the end of the shopping center/strip. PAY ATTENTION TO HOURS! They close in the middle of the day and are closed all day Monday.

Rainy and cold day? Best time for Pho! I like that the decor here is rather understated. It's actually very calming and zen. You walk in and they are always very welcoming. Can get pretty busy during lunch and dinner but they will usually have a table ready for you in no time. The menu is not as huge and confusing of some places. They keep it simple but still have lots of options. Small #7 (rare beef and noodle) is my go to. It's plenty of everything and I never finish it. I love their broth. Pho is all about the broth and theirs is one of the best! Also enjoy their fresh Spring Rolls with shrimp and pork. I usually just drink water but on occasion I cave in and treat myself to their house-made lemonade. It's as good as any I make from the lemon tree at home! #ReviewLocal

Me and my band came hungry to pho wagon after a gig, and man let me tell you did it hit the spot.Serving a true bone broth (get that bouillon nonsense outta here), these chefs don’t cut corners on the pho, and you can taste the difference.The proprietors and staff are truly wonderful, welcoming people who treat you like family. To top it all off, the art is quite unique and worth taking a moment or three to admire. Will be back again on our next west coast tour!

THIS PLACE STOLE MONEY FROM ME AFTER PROMISING A DISCOUNT FOR MESSING UP MY ORDER, I SIGNED A DIFFERENT CHECK AMOUNT WTH?!..AFTER I FINISHED MY SOUP WITH MY FRIEND, THEY BRING OUT THE WONTONS, THE MISSING WONTONS FROM MY SOUP ORDER, AND THEY IMMEDIATELY FOLLOW IT UP WITH HANDING ME THE BILL.ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!THEY ACT SURPRISED I ASK FOR A LOWER BILL DUE TO A WRONG ORDER.THEY ASSURE ME THEY WILL DISCOUNT MY MEAL FOR THIER MISTAKE. BUT AFTER I LEAVE AND I CHECK MY ACCOUNT, THEY CHARGED ME FULL PRICE FOR THE ORDER. I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE OR RECOMEND THEIR BLAND FOOD AND INCREDIBLY RUDE SERVICE. UNBELIEVABLE.

Service was phenomenal. Beef stew was the saltiest I've ever had. Also about 30% pricier than most, for 20% less food.

My family has been going to Pho Wagon since its opening. They have high quality, clean Vietnamese food yet tasty and consistent. I'm addicted to their spring rolls and Pho. Service is great. Their tables, floor and bathroom are always clean and not sticky. I would highly recommend giving this place a try if you love Vietnamese food.

This place is a good sized restaurant, clean and bright. Ordered s large special combo pho. The soup was s bit darker than others, but flavorful, not too salty. The meats were pretty good, especially the tendons, they were large pieces and not over cooked. There were lots of noodles in this large size. The CP was very good!

The lady that owns/runs this place is adorableand hospitable. The atmosphere is always nice, the food is great and reasonably priced
